Noah and I met many years ago through an informal nature awareness / primitive skills group known as the Woodsy Club. He earned an undergraduate degree in physics but has been a dedicated naturalist since birth. His passion for the woods of his neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee sparked the creation of the West Meade Conservancy. He earned a Level III certificate in track and sign interpretation from CyberTracker Conservation at the same time I did, and is currently pursuing a PhD in the Organismic & Evolutionary Biology Program at UMass. There he is applying his technological wizardry to the study of salamanders, among other things.
